Description:

The University of Calgary Department of Surgery, and Alberta Health Services invite applications for Pediatric Otolaryngologist - Head and Neck Surgeon position at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Required qualifications include a MD, Fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology, along with eligibility for licensure in the province of Alberta.

The successful candidates will be expected to have a clinical appointment with the University of Calgary, Cumming School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, and to participate in medical student and resident teaching. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in the pediatric otolaryngology on-call schedule according to both the Alberta Children's Hospital and Alberta Health Services policies.

The successful candidate will become a member of both the Section of Pediatric Surgery and the Section of Otolaryngology. Committee duties, research and active participation in section activities is required.
