Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Newborn Nursery - Sunny Southwest Florida

Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our established neonatology practice in Fort Myers, Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative environment while enjoying an exceptional Gulf Coast lifestyle.

Position Highlights
  • Provide attending coverage at Cape Coral Hospital, a Level I low-risk delivery service
  • Responsibilities include daily newborn nursery rounding and delivery attendance
  • Flexible scheduling with 8- or 12-hour shifts
  • Back-up coverage from home for added work-life balance
  • Supported by a robust, experienced team of 10 neonatologists and 10 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at Golisano Children's Hospital
  • Hospital affiliated with a state-of-the-art, 70-bed Level III NICU
  • Ideal candidates will have strong prior experience in a newborn nursery
