The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:

General Purpose: In an inpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership

FT (40) D/E, 8-10 hour shifts, on call.

The ANM will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of sedation services for pediatric patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine Interventional Radiology etc. This role supports daily clinical operations while focusing heavily on staff education, clinical competency, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Will oversee the implementation of evidence-based sedation protocols, assist in managing patient flow and procedural schedules, and ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulatory guidelines. Is responsible to respond to urgent patient care needs, support team members during high-acuity procedures, and maintain a strong presence on the unit as both a clinical expert and mentor. Will also act as a liaison between nursing staff and collaborating services such as radiology, anesthesia, and child life, promoting a culture of safety, excellence, and family-centered care. will lead orientation and onboarding for new hires, facilitate ongoing competency validation and in-service training, and organize simulation-based learning and emergency preparedness drills. Required BSN and NYS RN license, 2-3 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in imaging, sedation, PACU, or pediatric critical care environments required. Prior experience in a leadership capacity, such as a charge nurse or preceptor, is strongly preferred.
