Overview
The primary role of the Pediatric Account Manager is to achieve the revenue and market share goals established by Oticon throughout the territory. The Pediatric Account Manager will accomplish these goals through the identification, development, maintenance and retention of pediatric hearing aid and school customers. The Pediatric Account Manager is responsible for promoting the goals and mission of Oticon through effective and professional representation.
Territory (Qualified candidates must live in the following states): ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, NC, SC, FL, GA
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and implement a yearly plan for Most Valuable, Growth and Prospect customers.
- Coordinate the training activities for target customers.
- Participate in National and Regional Sales meetings
- Demonstrate an ability to perform all steps of the selling process.
- Review and analyze financial data to better understand the state of the business and achieve sales and revenue goals.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the audiological principles and pediatric patient fitting applications.
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate product information to customers
- Meet or exceed the visit goals set in your yearly plan.
- Attend pediatric conventions as an exhibitor or participant as required to meet sales objectives.
- Travel extensively to visit customers in person. Up to 80% overnight travel is expected, with the minimum travel nights to be determined with the Regional Manager based on geography of the territory.
- Maintain the pediatric customer data base in Sales Force by location, contact and other information deemed critical by the Sales Force Manager.
- Clearly communicate in person, on the phone, and through e-mail in a professional, customer oriented fashion.
- Deliver presentations to pediatric customer groups.
- Organize the territory, plan cost-efficient routing and prioritize multiple tasks independently with supervision from the Regional Manager.
- Utilized proficiently software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MapPoint and other standard office programs.
- Complete special projects or assignments as assigned.
Qualifications

- An Au.D. in Audiology
- Five years9 work experience specifically with pediatric patients in a clinical or educational setting is required.
- Two years9 work experience and demonstrated success selling in the hearing health care field is preferred, Specific knowledge and experience selling Oticon products or Edu Mic systems is preferred.
The pay for this position is expected to be from $85,000 and upward + commission; however, while the salary range is effective as of the date of this posting, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as bonus, commissions, or discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (listed below)
