Description of WorkThis Medicaid Program Services Manager administers the State Plan Personal Care Services (PCS) Program within Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) unit and is responsible for providing leadership and clinical oversight for the program. The role for this highly responsible professional position is to develop, implement, evaluate and oversee the provision of programmatic services and supports for Medicaid beneficiaries eligible to receive this service, and to help ensure that those services are provided in accordance with federal and state laws and consistent with Medicaid policies.
This position is responsible for supervision of staff and managing the independent assessment contractor and the IT contractor used to determine eligibility and level of services for approved beneficiary's irrespective of setting. The position is also responsible for developing program improvements and expanding provider capacities through training opportunities and implementing tools to assist PCS providers in managing their beneficiary population and plays a key role in implementing improvements to long-term care services, ensuring efficient and effective program delivery.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
- Experience monitoring compliance with federal and state Medicaid requirements, audit readiness, quality assurance, and corrective action plans.
- Experience with long term services or home health services
- Ability to understand issues to be resolved, prioritize tasks and maintain compliance metrics while delivering quality outcomes.
- Possess proven organizational, time management and interpersonal and communication skills and use tact and persistence.
Management Preference:
- REQUIRED - 2 years supervisory or leadership experience, directly managing, supervising, coaching, and evaluating staff including nurses or nurse consultants
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally travel within the community
- Able to sit, stand, walk, and use computer and phone for extended periods

- Master's degree in the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in a closely related program; or
- Bachelor's degree in the area of assignment field from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of experience in a closely related program; or
- an equivalent combination of education and experience.
