ABOUT THE TEAMThe
Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Electrical Engineering Team is responsible for developing high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Working across hardware, software, and mission autonomy, the team delivers flight-critical electronics, PCB assemblies, and FPGA-based processing architectures that enable Anduril's next-generation autonomous air platforms to operate in complex and contested environments. AD&S Electrical Engineers drive end-to-end development, from system architecture and circuit design to verification, integration, and flight test, ensuring scalable, mission-ready solutions that meet the performance, reliability, and survivability demands of the U.S. Military and modern air warfare.
ABOUT THE JOBWe are looking for an
PCB Design Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in
Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will work closely with avionics, system, and software engineers to create test systems for development, qualification, verification, and validation purposes. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware, we are looking for you.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of experience with PCB Layout
- 3+ years of experience with Altium
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design
- Solid understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes, limitations, design rules, and best practice
- Experience with ECAD libraries and library management
- Familiar with basic signal and power integrity rules (how they affect layout)
- Experience with high speed digital interfaces and controlled impedance routing requirements like USB, PCIe, Ethernet
- Ability to work in team environment, taking direction and collaborating to complete designs quickly
- Eligible for security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- CID, CID++ and/or PCEA-CPCD certification
- Experience with MIL-STD and IPC standards
- Experience with high density routing (BGA fanout, stackup > 10 layers)
- Experience with high speed routing (PCIE, DDR)
- Experience with power distribution network, signal integrity analyzer
- Experience with working with vendors on DFM/DFA
- Thriving in fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar
US Salary Range
$129,000-$171,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
