Payroll AdministratorThe Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate end-to-end processing of multi-state payrolls, accounting support, report generation, and related payroll responsibilities. This position partners closely with Human Resources, Accounting, and local business unit users to ensure payroll transactions are properly processed and accurately reflected in the general ledger. The Payroll Administrator is also responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the payroll function.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing- Process hourly and salary payroll in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local governmental regulations, and company policies.
- Collect, audit, and input time and attendance data and support the corporate timekeeping system (UKG Dimensions).
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with payroll record retention policies.
- Ensure the accurate calculation and withholding of payroll deductions.
- Enter and maintain direct deposit, W-4, and other employee payroll information.
- Audit and review payroll information for completeness and accuracy.
- Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding pay calculations.
- Maintain, process, and respond to garnishments and income assignments.
Systems, Reporting & Process Support- Assist with the development and documentation of payroll procedures and recommend improvements to achieve greater accuracy and efficiency.
- Support data entry, data validation, Human Resources, Payroll, and Timekeeping systems configuration, testing, and maintenance.
- Generate ad hoc payroll reports using system report writers and respond to data requests.
General Responsibilities- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and balance payroll detail.
QualificationsRequired Education- Associate's degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
Required Experience- No less than 5 years of experience processing large multi-state payrolls.
- Experience with Workday Payroll and UKG Dimensions Timekeeping.
- Knowledge of payroll, payroll tax, and human resources procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
