The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time PATTERNMAKER SUPERVISOR, WS-4616-13, to work at the Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) with 309 MXSG at HILL AIR FORCE BASE located in LAYTON, UT. This position will be used to fill multiple shifts (day, swing and grave). 2026 Salary Range: ($90,430-105,540) / Yearly with locality Job Open Date: 08/04/2026 Job Close Date: 08/11/2026 Who May Apply: All U.S. Citizens The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work in the manufacturing and repair of aircraft molds, patterns, wood mill, welding and sheet metal operations. The organizational location of this position is: Air Force Material Command (AFMC)/ Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC)/ Hill Air Force Base, UT/ Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC)/309 MXSG The organizational goals or objectives of this position are to provide customer support in the manufacture and repair of drop hammer molds and patterns for various aircraft sheet metal components, and the manufacture and repair of various wood and metal storage containers for various aircraft components. The manufacture and repair of various sheet metal and welding fabrication components for the industrial facilities within the maintenance group and host tenant organizations at OO-ALC. Qualifications: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain Security clearance - Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) - The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts. The employee may be required to rotate shifts, consisting of day, swing, and grave as needed to support the required needs of customers. - The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations. - The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment. - The duties of this position require the employee to operate a motor vehicle. Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.
