Full Job Description
This position is Onsite. Our office is located at 3001 ST ROSE PKY. Henderson, NV 89052.

The Patient Registration Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the daily operations specific to their unit. The Supervisor oversees and directs work team's production and performance to insure proper utilization and effectiveness of assigned personnel. They are responsible for defining and delegating team member responsibilities to appropriate personnel to ensure a smooth, accurate workflow. The Supervisor works in tandem with the other department Supervisors to manage the daily production of the Patient Access team and assists in managing the overall operations of the department.

This is a full-time position. Employees are required to work during business hours from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Based on business needs, employees may also be required to work outside of these hours and on weekends.

We offer 6-8 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be 8:00 am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages day-to-day and production operations for a team of registrars
  • Develops procedures to increase departmental accuracy and efficiency through prompt identification and resolution of routine and complex production issues
  • Assesses, evaluates, and addresses daily workload and queues
  • Analyzes productivity of registrations compares productivity to capacity plan. Identifies variances and implements proactive solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Responsible for quality monitoring activities including identifying areas of improvement and plan the implementation of improvement areas
  • Functions as department's liaison and contact / resource person for providing client issues and problem resolutions
  • Incorporate feedback from operational, financial and QA reports to improve performance
  • Must be engaged with team members to ensure a positive employee work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of experience in admitting, registration, or medical front office
  • 1+ years of supervisory or management experience
  • Familiarity with insurances, managed care insurances, and experience working with federal, state, and local agencies
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Ability to work full time onsite at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, 3001 ST ROSE PKY. Henderson, NV 89052
  • Ability to participate in training during the first 6 to 8 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Ability to work full time, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Based on business needs, employees may also be required to work outside of these hours and on weekends


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hospital Experience within the Emergency room department
  • Knowledge of the Patient Registration process and the functional workings of the admitting department

The salary for this role will range from $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
