Pay Grade: 12Job SummaryWe are seeking a
Patient Services Manager to lead and oversee our Patient Services team within an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Establish goals and oversee the implementation of patient meal services in alignment with medical directives and patient population needs
- Recruit, lead, coach, train, and develop patient services team members
- Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions, including special and modified diets, while supporting patient food preferences within prescribed guidelines
- Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and ensure service excellence standards are met
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while upholding HIPAA regulations, patient rights, and confidentiality policies
- Lead and participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Qualifications- Associate degree with at least one (1) year of experience in food service or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service management, nutrition, or a related discipline
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Diet Technician (DTR), or Registered Dietitian (RD) certification preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of food service management experience, preferably in an acute care environment
- ServSafe® certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records (EMR), and diet office systems
