ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Parts Sales Representative you are responsible for facilitating customer needs and requests in a way that is informative, productive and efficient. You will utilize knowledge of the parts, the bus and internal resources to help identify parts needed and to inform the customer. You manage customer accounts within an assigned territory working with the Regional Sales Managers. You will exhibit technical knowledge of the customers' buses. You will report to the Supervisor, Parts Sales.

You will develop good working relationships with customers by:
  • Responding to customer communications in a timely manner - typically same day
  • Researching correct parts with customers & factory
  • Resolving customer complaints and return requests professionally and in a timely matter
  • Following orders through processing to ensure timely shipment
  • Updating customers regarding status of products ordered and backordered
  • Sell parts to meet or exceed established goal
  • Manage, price and respond to customer bid requests
  • Analyze sales mix to Identify opportunities in order increase sales with assigned customers
  • Establish and maintain appropriate files and records for customer purchase orders and contracts
  • Other duties, as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, and/or vehicle parts experience
  • Must have strong computer skills (Proficient in Excel, creating worksheets, manipulating data & using formulas)
  • Sales experience; experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development and time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk and occasionally kneel or squat
  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Limited travel required (1-2 times a year)
  • Standard start time: 6:30am (negotiable)
  • Must be able to navigate manufacturing environment, comfortable around heavy machinery, tools, etc.
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, (i.e., safety glasses, bump caps, hearing protection, etc.)

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

$75,000 - $110,000/annual salary + bonus + premium benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
