Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000+ per year (commensurate with experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organized Automotive Parts Manager to lead our fast-growing Parts Department at Volvo Cars Brooklyn. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage inventory control, and direct vendor relationships. Your leadership will ensure seamless parts flow between our service technicians, wholesale accounts, and retail customers, while upholding Volvo's premium brand and luxury customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Operations: Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and shipping of all genuine Volvo parts and lifestyle accessories.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain balanced inventory levels to maximize turnover and minimize obsolescence using CDK Global.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and supervise parts counter staff, delivery drivers, and shipping clerks.
  • Vendor & Brand Management: Build strong relationships with Volvo Cars North America, regional warehouses, and approved suppliers to negotiate pricing and optimize inventory fill rates.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with service advisors and Volvo-certified technicians to verify diagnostics, speed up vehicle repair times, and minimize shop delays.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of automotive dealership parts management experience (Volvo or luxury/import OEM experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency with CDK Global software is required.

Expert mastery of Volvo Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC) and ordering systems is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Premium customer service mindset, excellent communication, conflict resolution, and strong organizational skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Volvo manufacturing certifications or ASE parts certification is a strong plus.
