PARTNER, TAX

Position Summary
We are seeking a well-rounded, experienced and dynamic Tax Partner to join our Albuquerque team during this exciting time of growth and transformation. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in tax planning, compliance, and consulting for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, and will thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing client relationships and leading high-performing teams. The Tax Partner position offers the unique opportunity to lead and grow within a firm committed to innovation, strategic expansion, and professional development.

Essential Functions:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of tax engagements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies and planning for clients across various industries.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
  • Stay abreast of current tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firm's services are compliant and competitive.
  • Collaborate with other partners and firm leadership to drive business development and growth initiatives.


Qualifications:
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a focus on individual, corporate and partnership taxation.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and client engagements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them to complex client situations.
