Qualifications

• Valid Paramedic License
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification (preferred)
• 1 year of experience in emergency medical services
• Current CPR Certification
• Minimum age of 21
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS and PALS certifications (training provided)
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care at the EMT-P level
• Transport patients safely to medical facilities
• Ensure compliance with state medical guidelines
• Collaborate with other emergency responders
• Document patient information and care delivered
• Maintain readiness and operational efficiency of medical equipment
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs
