We're seeking a Paralegal to support Videojet's global in-house legal team across contract administration, legal research, compliance, and legal operations. You will collaborate closely with attorneys, contract managers, Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders across the organization to ensure contracts, compliance initiatives, training programs, and legal reporting are accurately processed, tracked, and maintained. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing timely and reliable legal support.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop broad in-house legal experience within a dynamic global environment, build expertise across legal and compliance operations, and contribute to a high-performing, purpose-driven organization.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • Support the review, drafting, and redlining of standard commercial contracts including NDAs, vendor agreements, and purchasing contracts to ensure accuracy and alignment with approved templates.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle administration process, including intake, routing, tracking, execution, and archiving of agreements within the contract management system.
  • Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and company policies to support attorneys in preparing legal opinions, summaries, and business guidance.
  • Track and report legal KPIs across Agiloft, MIRO, and Power BI in line with agreed definitions, data sources, and reporting cadence, supporting legal visual management for the team.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather required information and facilitate timely execution and renewal of agreements.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the contract management database, ensuring all records are current, accessible, and accurately filed, including repository clean-up, naming conventions, and version control for templates, handbooks, and other contract records.
  • Support compliance initiatives by monitoring regulatory requirements, tracking deadlines, and assisting in the preparation of compliance reports and filings.
  • Assist with intellectual property administration, including trademark maintenance, filing coordination, and docketing support in partnership with outside counsel.
  • Prepare legal documents, presentations, summaries, and correspondence under the direction of attorneys to support business and legal operations.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on matter management logistics, including document collection, billing review, and status tracking.

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • 7+ years of experience in a paralegal, legal operations, or contract administration role within a corporate legal department or law firm
  • Paralegal certificate, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven track record of managing contract documentation, legal filings, or matter administration with a high degree of accuracy and organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting commercial contracting in a global manufacturing, industrial, or technology company
  • Familiarity with intellectual property administration, including trademark docketing and filing processes
  • Background in compliance monitoring, regulatory research, or corporate governance support
  • Experience with e-signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign) and enterprise procurement or ERP systems
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration across legal, finance, and supply chain teams
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, document management systems, or legal databases
  • Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to draft, proofread, and edit legal documents clearly and precisely
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
