JOB DESCRIPTION: PARALEGAL

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide vital support across a broad spectrum of legal practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, reviewing contracts, litigation, and more. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will ensure efficient case management, thorough legal research, and precise document preparation. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct comprehensive document review and data entry to support litigation, estate planning, immigration law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and other legal proceedings.
  • Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars for multiple attorneys.
  • Perform administrative duties such as proofreading, transcription, filing, and maintaining accurate records of legal cases.
  • Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses when necessary to gather relevant information for ongoing cases or legal matters.

Skills
  • Proven experience as a paralegal with a strong foundation in various practice areas including estate planning, law & regulations in construction companies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure error-free work.
  • Effective interviewing techniques combined with professional phone etiquette for client interactions or witness interviews.
  • Knowledge of UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) law and experience supporting litigation processes.
  • Ability to perform detailed document review and conduct thorough legal research across diverse practice areas such as immigration law, securities law, patent law, family law, landlord-tenant law, tribal regulations, and workers' compensation.
  • Superior administrative skills including data entry, filing systems management, transcription services, and clerical support within a busy law office environment.
