Qualifications

• Board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) required.
• Active Maryland state license or eligibility to obtain one needed.
• At least one year post-graduate experience in Pain Medicine preferred, or in Primary Care, Orthopedics, Neurology, or Urgent Care.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Note: New graduates not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Split time between Waldorf and Prince Frederick locations.
• Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits for patients aged 18 and older.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individual treatment plans.
• Perform trigger point injections (training offered if no prior experience).
• Document clinical information accurately and timely according to protocols.
• Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements.
