The Opportunity:As the Paid Search & Digital Analytics Consultant, you will lead the effectiveness of Co-operators' paid search performance across multiple lines of business and collaborate on the delivery and evolution of performance marketing reporting. The role operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and analytically driven environment reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing - Performance & Acquisition. You will be encouraged to leverage your strategic and business-savvy mindset, work in a team-based environment, and proactively uncover opportunities to enhance our SEM mandate.
How you will create impact: - Oversee and work closely with our agency partner to drive effectiveness and efficiencies in our paid search investments.
- Develop and own a paid search strategy.
- Be the go-to subject matter expert on paid search, providing advice, insights, best practices, and thought leadership.
- Assist marketing stakeholders across multiple lines of businesses in defining strategic objectives and budgets for paid search campaigns primarily on Google.
- Drive keyword research and consult in the development of ad copy and ad creative.
- Forecast expectations around conversion results (Ad Spend, CPC, CPL, CPA, Impression Share) and track against goals to ensure high ROI.
- Monitor tracking and performance using analytics tools from Google, Meta, etc.
- Identify and respond to campaign concerns proactively and organize support, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues.
- Work with our agency partner to conduct regular management and optimization of campaigns to identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Generate reports measuring against key KPIs and provide detailed, actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and our agency partner to report on campaign performance and budget allocations in collaboration with the Performance Marketing Consultant.
- Strive to continuously improve paid search performance through paid search audits, embracing experimentation, and staying current on industry trends and best practices.
- Partner with the Performance Marketing Consultant to assemble a monthly Marketing Performance Dashboard to report on paid search, paid social, display, and programmatic performance. Collaborate to elevate Dashboard sophistication for a complete picture of business impact and performance opportunities.
To join our team: - You have 5+ years of paid search experience, including developing strategy, creating, managing, and optimizing campaigns and ads, and working with tools and technologies to measure and track effectiveness.
- You have working knowledge across other digital advertising channels - including paid social, display, and programmatic - a sound understanding of channel KPIs and metrics, and experience working in analytics platforms.
- You have working knowledge of SEO, with an understanding of how organic and paid search work cohesively.
- You have working knowledge of tagging and measuring behavioral and conversion events using tag management tools.
- You have a post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or Information Technology.
- Nice to have: You are certified in Google Ads Search, Microsoft Ads Search, Google Ads Measurement, Google Analytics.

Expected salary range $72,847.00 to $121,411.00
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
