Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate
Veterinarian to join the team at our successful clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities - Provide routine examinations
- Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment
- Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic
- Administer vaccinations
- Perform spay and neuter surgeries
- Prescribe medication
- Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
- Update client records
Qualifications- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Previous work experience as a veterinarian
- Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
- Problem-solving skills
- Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary
- Patience and a love for animals
Compensation: $120,000.00 per year

He grew up caring for a variety of species of animals; in fact, some of his first memories as a child involved caring for animals. His passion for animals and interest in veterinary medicine existed from a tender age. He focused on the sciences and worked hard to achieve his goal of becoming a veterinarian. He earned his doctorate in Veterinary medicine from St. George's university in 2012 after completing a clinical year at the University of Georgia. He is a member of the only honor society of veterinary medicine in the United States, Phi Zeta. He is dedicated to ensuring Hudspeth Animal Hospital will provide the best quality pet care to every pet that comes through our doors.
