OverviewThe Outpatient Pharmacist will deliver exceptional customer experiences to patients and providers with an emphasis on clinical outcomes, national accreditation, and pharmaceutical excellence. The Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for verification of prescription entry and dispensing; determining the appropriateness of prescribed therapy; and supervising technician(s), driver(s), and pharmacy clerk(s). These responsibilities include ensuring that the applicable practices are continually and consistently applied to personnel and pharmacy operations, and proactively identifying and remedying potential problems with personnel and pharmacy operations.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
Qualifications- Licensed as a current pharmacist in active, good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, required (with no restrictions)
- Proof of the highest level of pharmacy education achieved, required
- One year of post-graduate patient care experience preferred
