Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency in Pediatrics
• Current unrestricted medical license for New York or ability to obtain
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain in New York
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics within five years
• Eligibility for medical staff membership and privileges
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as needed

Responsibilities

• Practice evidence-based medicine with a focus on education and guidance
• Build patient relationships in a supportive neighborhood
• Work independently while collaborating with a team of pediatricians
• Provide high-quality, low-intervention care
• Utilize an efficient administrative system to maximize patient time
