Position OverviewMAK Anesthesia is seeking a
Pediatric Fellowship-Trained Anesthesiologist to serve as
Outpatient Medical Director across several Wellstar outpatient and health park locations. This leadership role combines clinical excellence with operational oversight, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across a dynamic multi-site practice.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated anesthesiologist with
3-5 years of experience who is passionate about pediatric care, ambulatory anesthesia, and physician leadership.
Practice LocationsYou will oversee anesthesia services at the following Wellstar facilities:
- Acworth Health Park
- Barrett Parkway - Pediatrics
- Cherokee Health Park
- East Cobb Health Park
- Windy Hill Hospital
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership for outpatient anesthesia services across assigned sites
- Ensure high standards of patient safety, quality, and efficiency
- Collaborate with surgeons, hospital administration, and clinical teams to optimize workflows
- Support, mentor, and engage anesthesia providers across locations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, compliance, and performance tracking
- Assist with staffing models, scheduling, and operational planning
Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship Training required
- 3-5 years of post-training clinical experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in ambulatory/outpatient anesthesia settings strongly preferred
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia
