Clinical Psychologist to join our brand-new
North Cobb Clinic location. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish behavioral health services in a modern outpatient setting while making a meaningful impact on the mental and emotional well-being of the community.
The Clinical Psychologist will provide evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and/or families depending on specialty area. The ideal candidate is collaborative, innovative, and passionate about integrated care within a growing healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Provide individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers, psychiatrists, care managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in care coordination, case consultation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the launch and growth of behavioral health programming within the new clinic.
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when needed.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and wellness practices.
QualificationsRequired- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or license eligibility as a Psychologist in the State of Georgia.
- Experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessments.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred- Experience in integrated behavioral health or outpatient medical settings.
- Specialization in anxiety, depression, trauma, health psychology, or family systems.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations across the lifespan.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Schedule- Full-time, outpatient clinic schedule
- Monday - Friday with flexible hours available
