Out of Production Deputy Chief Project Engineer and SC&P Leader
Primary Responsibilities:- Lead a team of Deputy CPEs within the OOP CPE Office to resolve technical issues and ensure fleet safety
- Provide subject-matter leadership for fleet safety by reviewing safety events, participating in COSP processes, and driving mitigation actions
- Participate in the Cross Model Safety Review Board and represent organizational safety positions in governance decisions.
- Organize teams to investigate NOEs, and potential non compliances, and provide integrated summary of technical issues and recommendations to CPE.
- Review daily COSP PSI reports and monitor emergent fleet safety issues; drive required follow-up and escalation.
- Work with Fleet Chief Office and attend Fleet Support Review Board (FSRB) to identify and act on test/certification needs that support timely issue closure.
- Represent the program in regulator meetings, collaborate with FAA and Reg Admin to escalate program-critical certification issues.
- Provide leadership and guidance to engineering teams on unique and challenging certification projects.
- Responsible for supporting CPE with overall product integrity and in-service safety of the Out of Production fleets.

Work Authorization:- This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at Seal Beach, CA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- 3+ years of management experience managing technical and/or engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in leading multi-functional teams to meet customer expectations on quality and schedule.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience possess effectively communicating and influencing decision-making by internal and external management and senior level representatives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to all stakeholders.
- Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.
- Familiarity with BCAB, BPSM, COSP, and NNC review processes.
- Experience working with regulators.
