A Snapshot of Your Day As an OT Cybersecurity Engineer, you will directly contribute to securing critical infrastructure within the energy sector by configuring cybersecurity solutions, performing security assessments, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting internal and external customers. You will spend time onsite installing, validating, and documenting cybersecurity solutions, as well as in the office supporting service activities, secure design, event investigations, and regulatory consultations. This role combines hands-on technical work, customer interaction, and collaboration with engineering teams across multiple disciplines to support the security and reliability of energy systems.
How You'll Make an Impact - Work collaboratively with international and multidisciplinary teams to help secure critical infrastructure in the energy sector
- Deliver cybersecurity services and solutions remotely and onsite for industrial control system environments
- Configure, validate, troubleshoot, and document cybersecurity technologies in support of customer projects and service activities
- Serve as a subject matter expert by providing consultative, design, and technical support to internal and external stakeholders
- Support alignment with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements such as NERC CIP, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001
What You Bring - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is acceptable
- 8+ years of experience with cybersecurity, engineering or related field
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support industrial control system environments
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux administration, computer networking, and cybersecurity concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics to different audiences
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, or regulations such as NERC CIP, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, etc.
