Description

OrthoSC is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic Urgent Care team. This is a strictly office-based role designed for providers who enjoy fast-paced orthopedic care without the demands of call or operating room responsibilities.
Position Highlights
  • Orthopedic Urgent Care setting
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend requirement:
    Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • No call
  • No operating room time
  • 100% clinic-based care
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute orthopedic injuries and conditions
  • Perform orthopedic-focused exams and procedures (splinting, casting, joint injections, etc.)
  • Order and interpret imaging and diagnostic tests
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians and clinical staff
  • Provide patient education and clear follow-up instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current PA licensure (or eligibility) in the state
  • Orthopedic or urgent care experience preferred (new grads with strong orthopedic interest encouraged to apply)
  • Strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and patient communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care
