Full Job Description
This position is created specifically to assist with Humana's efforts to secure and, if awarded, transition into a new business opportunity. Please note that continued employment in this role is expressly contingent upon Humana's receipt of the business opportunity and a satisfactory transition into the work. In the event Humana does not pursue the opportunity or determines that a timely and satisfactory transition cannot be achieved, employment may be subject to termination.

In this individual contributor role as an Organization Effectiveness Lead, you will report to a Director of Organization Effectiveness, and will optimize the effectiveness of the Humana Military onboarding process and programs.
  • You will create strategies to maximize associates' work output and utilize their skills.
  • You will guide Humana Military leaders and associates to navigate the onboarding journey through a structured support process and tools.
  • You will serve as a concierge, liaison and consultant for hiring leaders and provide onboarding support, advisory services, planning, and coordination in a tiered support model.
  • You will create and deploy playbooks, and designs and deliver onboarding learning experiences, and develop and maintain an internal onboarding intranet site.
  • You will determine measures of success, valuate the program effectiveness using a variety of data sources, and create dashboards/visuals to brief leaders/stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position
  • Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Service)
  • HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of onboarding experience or strategic learning experience
  • 2 years of project leadership experience
  • Experience in designing, developing, managing and delivering onboarding programs
  • Experience using data and analytics to inform recommendations


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with TRICARE, Veterans Affairs or government healthcare environments
  • Knowledge of federal healthcare regulations & contract compliance
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency with learning management systems and eLearning authoring tools


Work at Home Requirements
  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information


Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$104,000 - $143,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
