Full Job Description
Join our Order Processing Services team as a Senior Assistant and become the backbone of seamless customer order fulfillment.The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of customer orders throughout the order fulfillment lifecycle. This role supports manufacturing operations by coordinating order planning, maintaining system data integrity, and ensuring alignment with production schedules and plant capacity.

The position partners with Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Service to support on-time delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement while delivering a high level of customer service.

What Will You Do?

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of customer orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Review, validate, and maintain customer order information to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Schedule customer orders based on production lead times, plant capacity, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor order milestones and maintain accurate status updates in SAP, Symmetry, and other business systems.
  • Coordinate engineering activities to support customer commitments and project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate customer ship dates and align them with production schedules.
  • Utilize capacity planning tools to support production balancing and level loading.
  • Monitor daily order queues, prioritize workload, and proactively resolve planning issues.
  • Process customer order authorizations within established service-level expectations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resolution of customer complaints and communicate updates as needed.
  • Escalate order risks, scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and other issues that may impact delivery commitments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to customer orders, engineering activities, and authorizations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to ensure successful order fulfillment.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
