Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Oracle database administration experience, specifically with Oracle 19c.
• Proficiency in UNIX, preferably RHEL or Solaris.
• Experience with SQL Developer and/or Toad via command line.
• Demonstrated skills in performance tuning are essential.
• Possession of CompTIA Security+ certification required prior to interview.
• Educational background: BS/BA with 3 years of relevant experience, AA/AS with 7 years, or HS diploma with 9 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases both on-prem and in AWS.
• Perform routine backups and recoveries using datapump and RMAN with Rubrik integration.
• Monitor and analyze database statistics, tables, and indexes.
• Ensure the health of database servers through regular checks on backups and storage status.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connection and performance issues related to databases.
• Manage database accounts by creating, modifying, or deleting them as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with DoD STIG and manage necessary upgrades and patches.
