Willis Knighton Health is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our growing ophthalmology and eye care team in Shreveport, Louisiana. Position Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose and manage refractive errors, ocular diseases, and vision disorders.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and vision-enhancing treatments.
  • Manage conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye syndrome, and other ocular health concerns within the scope of optometric practice.
  • Co-manage pre-operative and post-operative ophthalmic surgical patients.
  • Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists regarding specialty referrals and complex patient care.
  • Educate patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic health record.
