Full Job Description
Anticipated Duration: 6 - 12 months (could extend longer as needed)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented California State Grants Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with California state funding programs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of school facility regulations and a demonstrated ability to manage the grant application and reporting process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:op
  • Research and interpret California State regulations related to school facility funding.
  • Identify and evaluate available funding opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit accurate grant applications and all related documentation.
  • Prepare and/or support preparation of expense reports for auditors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, attorneys, CPAs, and administrative agencies to gather required information.
  • Maintain organized records of all grant-related materials.
  • Work with IT staff to define data requirements and support grant tracking systems.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across departments to ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
  • Understanding of Peoplesoft, Unifier, and similar software systems is ideal.
  • Familiarity with OPSC and CDE online systems.
  • Knowledge of eligibility establishment and update.
  • Analyze problems and propose solutions related to funding and regulatory requirements.

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range offered for this position is $85K-125K. Actual pay offered will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
