The Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center is seeking a high-impact Senior Operations Supervisor to lead and elevate performance across our jet engine disassembly, clean, and inspection operations (Gate 1). This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and world-class execution within a fast-paced, high-accountability production environment.
As a Senior Operations Supervisor, you will drive results, strengthen processes, and build high-performing teams. You'll use strong technical insight, decisive problem-solving, and clear communication to eliminate obstacles, enhance flow, and improve product quality. What You Will Do:- Achieve Operational Metrics: Support and meet performance goals for the assigned cell, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Drive actions and accountability to ensure all applicable targets and KPIs are consistently met.
- Budget Management: Oversee and manage capital and expense budgets for the assigned cell, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and adherence to financial plans.
- Production Execution: Ensure production and delivery schedules are met by effectively planning, monitoring progress, and executing timely contingency plans when needed.
- Continuous Improvement Leadership: Identify, lead, and implement process improvement initiatives using continuous improvement methodologies to enhance product quality, reduce cycle times, and lower operational costs.
- Corrective Action Implementation: Execute timely and effective root-cause corrective actions to maintain adherence to quality standards and prevent recurrence of issues.
- Workforce Management: Manage all aspects of the hourly workforce, including time and attendance, scheduling, performance feedback, training, communication, and recognition. Conduct performance and skill assessments for Operations Technicians, Powerplant Mechanics, Inspectors, and related roles.
- Policy and Procedure Compliance: Administer company policies and procedures consistently to maintain compliance and ensure equitable treatment of all employees.
- EH&S Commitment: Demonstrate full adherence to Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies by completing required training, enforcing safe work practices, and actively participating in applicable committee or program activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience including supervisory and manufacturing management experience; Or Associate degree and 7 years of experience; Or High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 9 years of experience including supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications We Prefer:- Aerospace/Aviation MRO expertise
- Master's degree in a related field with of 3 years of experience
- Successful completion of RTX Leadership Development Program

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
