THE WORK
Project Manager supporting RMS production operations. This role will support the SEMS (Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems) line of business and the Radars, Electronic Warfare & Acoustic (REAS) market segment, specifically the production work in our La Mesa, MX factory and reporting through the leadership team in Orlando, FL.
This role will include CAM responsibility and total ownership of quality, cost, and schedule performance for their assigned programs which includes both labor and material responsibilities.
Specific tasks will include (but not limited to)
- Setting up manufacturing budgets (both labor and material) and executing earned value requirements for both
- Leading proposals to include leading the proposal and authoring basis of estimates (BOEs)
- Leading new program launches and leading the team
through end item material delivery
- Leading the IPT to ensure a Quality, on budget, and on time delivery
- Analyzing and updating program schedules
- Leading the IPT to develop production startup requirements
- Responsible for execution of existing production lines
- Identifying and coordinating implementation of internal process improvements
- Supporting and participating in programmatic and technical reviews, briefings, and meetings
WHO WE ARE
Our functional group, the Operations Program Management team, is composed of ~30 professionals with a range of skill and experience. Our team serves as Control Account Managers (CAMs) responsible for material budget and operations labor scope. We are leaders in this organization who are the primary interfaces between line of business Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality or other company functions for production, development, and capture programs for Production Operations. We ensure seamless support throughout the production process, ensuring successful delivery of contracted projects for our valued customers. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that the factories and their programs operate on schedule and meet commitments. We drive momentum through action, and focus on the small wins while driving towards the overall objectives.

Basic Qualifications
- Prior Project Management experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Understanding of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) practices, principles, compliance regulations
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite of tools to include performance metric creation
- Ability to develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily priorities
Desired skills
- Experience coordinating tasks and actions with multiple functions
- Motivational skills along with the ability to energize teams
- Experience with SAP/COS, or equivalent Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
- CAM certification and/or experience
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline
- LM21 Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent Lean/Six Sigma training
- Communicate clearly in both English and Spanish
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
