Operations Manager at
Nashville International Airport (BNA). The
Operations Manager is responsible for planning maintenance operations, managing staff, overseeing projects, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently, complies with contractual obligations as well as JSM Airport Services policies and procedures.
Compensation:- Full-Time
- Weekly Pay
- Salary Starting at $91,000 (Depending on Experience)
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 10am-6:30pm, On Call; however, occasional changes in the work schedule may occur, based on operational needs.

Job Responsibilities:- Responsible for the performance/execution of all maintenance activities at the site.
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
- Perform periodic inspections to ensure high quality maintenance standards are being performed.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
- Develop and manage maintenance personnel and arrange for training when needed.
- Oversee the timeliness and accuracy of all required information into the CMMS system.
- Responsible for the timely scheduling and completion of all Preventive and Corrective work.
- Responsible for verifying all work is being done correctly, safely and on time.
- Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of all required hard copy reports as well reports generated utilizing the CMMS system.
- Ensure the development and implementation of technical and safety training programs for the site.
- Oversee all operational functions and ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures, performance requirements, contractual agreements, Labor standards, OSHA, and any other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for meeting monthly performance requirements to earn any additional performance fees.
- Identify operational concerns and coordinate efforts to resolve open issues in a timely manner. Develop and implement rectification processes.
- Oversee safety standards and programs and ensure standards are established, followed, and measured.
- Meet regularly with the Customer and as necessary with the Airport Authority & TSA to assure a high degree of Customer Satisfaction and performance.
- Perform required electrical work consistent with customer requirements.
- Support Site Managers in special projects and assignments.
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to supervisors and technicians.
- Manage crisis situations and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
- Safety and compliance training as required.
- Perform other reasonable ancillary duties to support the operation and our customer.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree preferred (Job experience, professional development and continuing education may be substituted for educational experience).
- 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role with a proven track record of managing operations in a complex environment.
- Experience and background in maintenance management, operations, and team leadership.
- Familiarity with aviation, airport, and airline operations
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with the customer, HQ management, and site personnel.
- Strong presentation skills with ability to introduce and implement new processes and procedures.
- PC skills with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, project management and understanding and knowledge of CMMS.
- Strong desktop skills (proficiency with MS Outlook - email, calendar, TEAMS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.), strong organizational skills, interpersonal communication skills, and be self-motivated.
- Must be able to be on-call and work occasional evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to climb ladders, navigate catwalk and other raised platforms.
- Frequently lifting/moving items that may range in weight up-to 50 pounds unassisted occasionally.
- Work safely in a variety of locations that may include moving equipment and electricity, as well as small spaces, high spaces, dirty spaces, and hot spaces.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Additional Requirements: The employee must be able to successfully pass a drug screening, a drivers' license check and validation, a ten (10) year Criminal History Records Check (CHRC), federal fingerprinting and security threat assessment as well as airport security badging.
