Position Overview Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall operational delivery, client service excellence, and portfolio performance throughout the Hamilton, Niagara, and Kitchener regions. This leadership role is critical in ensuring contracted services are delivered to the highest standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, employees, and community stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be based within the territory and will travel regularly throughout Hamilton, Niagara, and Kitchener to support operations, engage with clients, and provide leadership to management and frontline teams.
Key Responsibilities - Foster and maintain strong partnerships with clients, stakeholders, and community organizations.
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between client groups and Paladin Security.
- Lead regular contract review and operational meetings with clients.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations and exceed client expectations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced service delivery.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term operational strategies across the Hamilton, Niagara, and Kitchener portfolios.
- Maintain a strong field presence through regular site visits, audits, and operational reviews.
- Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and mentorship to Site Supervisors, Client Service Managers, and other operational leaders.
- Build and maintain strong team engagement and employee relations.
- Monitor and evaluate performance across all assigned portfolios.
- Ensure monthly KPI reporting and client deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage portfolio performance to achieve revenue, margin, and budget objectives.
- Support scheduling and overtime mitigation strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure all services align with Paladin Security's Code of Ethics, policies, and client requirements.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support emergency response planning, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, licensing requirements, occupational health and safety standards, and client-specific expectations.
Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years of security industry experience in a supervisory, management, or operational leadership capacity.
- Proven success managing multiple sites, clients, and large employee groups.
- Postsecondary education in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Willing to obtain Ontario Security Guard License
