Full Job Description
Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to support operations for UxS Programs in Hoffman, NC.

Requirements

The Operations Manager for UxS Programs plays a critical role in the sustainment and execution of unmanned systems training programs. This role is responsible for coordinating procurement, managing property accountability, supporting course preparation, and enhancing operational processes across the organization. Leveraging prior SOF leadership experience, the Operations Manager will drive efficiencies and ensure that logistics and support functions align with high-performance standards expected by our DoD customers.

Procurement & Logistics
  • Source, order, and track UxS components and materials from U.S. and international vendors.
  • Forecast material needs in coordination with the training calendar and engineering/instructor teams.
  • Maintain and grow vendor relationships and evaluate cost-effective sourcing options while ensuring compliance with relevant trade and security regulations.

Property Accountability
  • Manage internal property tracking and reconciliation in close coordination with the accounting and finance team.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate property book system to support both internal control and customer-facing reporting.
  • Support inventory audits and ensure lifecycle management of training equipment.

Course Support & Material Prep
  • Oversee training kits, consumables, and hardware readiness for all UxS programs.
  • Coordinate with instructors and the warehouse manager to ensure timely and complete delivery of training support packages.
  • Maintain checklists and process documentation to streamline course prep and execution.

Customer Coordination & Outreach
  • Serve as a logistical and operational point of contact for customer coordination.
  • Ensure operational requirements are aligned with client needs and communicated clearly during pre-course and post-course engagements.

Process Improvement & Operational Oversight
  • Identify and implement improvements in supply chain, logistics, and training prep workflows.
  • Provide SOF-informed perspective to enhance internal systems, communication rhythms, and team coordination.
  • Contribute to after-action reviews and lessons learned with a focus on operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Retired senior-level military experience, ideally with SOF background.
  • Strong understanding of training operations and sustainment models.
  • Demonstrated experience with procurement and inventory systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, adaptive environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with DoD logistics, acquisitions, procurement compliance, and operational rhythms.
