Job Title: Operations Manager

Reporting RelationshipReports directly to Vice President, Operations (or equivalent VP-level leader)
Position SummaryThe Operations Manager is a hands-on, tactical leader responsible for executing and maintaining core operational processes across the organization. This role focuses on day-to-day operational oversight, process execution, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination rather than long-term strategy setting.
The Operations Manager partners closely with the VP of Operations to implement defined initiatives, reinforce standard processes, and ensure consistent, compliant delivery of operational services across teams and offices.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Execution & Oversight- Execute and support established operational processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- Monitor day-to-day operational activity and address issues as they arise, escalating when appropriate
- Ensure teams and offices are following documented procedures, workflows, and service standards
Process Documentation & Improvement- Maintain, update, and reinforce operational procedures and documentation
- Identify inefficiencies, breakdowns, or recurring issues and recommend practical, incremental improvements
- Support automation and standardization efforts under the direction of senior leadership
Cross-Functional Coordination- Serve as a key operational point of contact for internal partners including onboarding, training, compliance, and client-facing teams
- Coordinate with Directors of Operations and office leadership to reinforce best practices and provide operational support
- Support communication, tracking, and follow-through on operational initiatives and action items
Project & Initiative Support- Execute assigned operational projects such as onboarding support, account transitions, workflow updates, and reporting enhancements
- Track progress, timelines, and deliverables using established tools and reporting formats
- Prepare operational updates, summaries, and metrics for VP-level review
Issue Resolution & Internal Support- Triage and resolve operational and compliance-related issues in a timely manner
- Partner with internal teams (IT, Compliance, HR, Finance) to resolve operational challenges
- Deliver reliable internal service and contribute to high internal customer satisfaction
Scope of Authority- Tactical execution and process ownership within defined operational areas
- Provides input and recommendations for operational improvements
- Executes priorities set by VP-level leadership; no independent strategy ownership
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required
- 4-7 years of experience in operations, financial services, or a regulated business environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting operational workflows, documentation, and cross-functional coordination
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in structured environments
Preferred Experience- Financial services, wealth management, or similarly regulated industry experience
- Exposure to onboarding, integrations, or office-level operational support
- Experience working closely with senior operations or VP-level leadership
