Job Title: Operations Manager | Installed Sales

Reports To: VP of Installed Sales
Department: Installed Sales
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Pineville, NC

Summary:

The Operations Manager | Installed Sales is responsible for overseeing operational performance, capacity alignment, and execution standards across the Installed Sales organization. This role provides leadership, governance, and escalation support to ensure projects are executed consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with company objectives. The Operations Manager partners with Project Managers, Estimators, and Procurement to remove constraints, improve processes, and support scalable growth.

Job Duties:

Operational Oversight
  • Provide oversight of Installed Sales project execution across regions.
  • Ensure consistent application of processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor workload, capacity, and resource alignment.
  • Identify operational risks and intervene proactively.

Leadership & Support
  • Support Project Managers in execution challenges and escalations.
  • Provide guidance on scheduling, resourcing, and priority alignment.
  • Serve as escalation point for schedule, cost, or customer issues.
  • Promote accountability and performance standards.

Financial & Performance Management
  • Monitor Installed Sales performance metrics including margin, schedule adherence, and backlog.
  • Support margin protection efforts and approve corrective actions as needed.
  • Review trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Support forecasting and capacity planning.

Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Ensure alignment between Estimating, Procurement, and Project Management.
  • Facilitate communication across functions to prevent silos.
  • Support implementation of new tools, processes, and workflows.

Continuous Improvement
  • Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned.
  • Drive standardization and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support training, development, and onboarding efforts.
