Operations Manager, TIMET, Toronto, Ohio

Summary

Directs manufacturing operations for a department. Build and develop operations organization, processes and procedures to support strategic direction. Establish operations initiatives for improvement in safety, delivery, quality, cost, and employee relations.

Essential Functions

Establishes operations standards for safety, on-time delivery, quality, cost control, and waste reduction.

Establishes manufacturing policies in Lean Manufacturing techniques, material usage, shipping and receiving, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations and performance measures.

Directs implementation and execution of manufacturing policies and continuous improvement practices throughout departments.

Oversees the implementation of manufacturing schedules, manpower and facilities requirements, and safety programs.

Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.

Directs and oversees the department's operations budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
