Operations Manager
Location: Melbourne, Florida

Key Responsibilities
- Will oversee the Operations environment supporting Extant Aerospace's manufacturing facility.
- Support high mix, low volume electronics assembly and test facility
- Lead team through successful development and execution of monthly plans to meet and exceed schedule, revenue, and cost requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, equipment, and subcontractors
- Responsible for establishing optimum utilization of available resources through efficient manpower management
- Utilize statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in processes
- Implementing open communication and continuous improvement
- Improving standards and processes in all phases of the operations cycle
- Support the development of new methods, processes, and equipment and apply them to the manufacturing operation for productivity gains
Education & Experience Requirements
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; or a bachelor's degree with at least 8 year of direct industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have 4 years direct leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data-driven decision-making
