Full Job Description
To be part of a team that builds world-class inspection technology products. The role will include assembly and in-process testing of probes and instruments, using processes including soldering, mechanical assembly, encapsulation, wiring and inspection.

We're looking for an Operations Manager to lead the daily operations for the Billerica manufacturing plant and to ensure reliability and consistency on HSE/Compliance/fulfilment and the smooth execution of the production line. This role will contribute and lead in the development of CBS plan for the business unit as a whole.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Responsible as operations leader for the management and overall leadership of the Billerica plant.
  • Lead and manage the manufacturing production facility in order to reach defined targets in HSE, Compliance , CBS, revenue, quality, cost, delivery and safety.
  • Lead and develop the operations management team in performance development and career growth and in executing on business strategy goals and objectives.
  • Lead and drive accountability for everyone meeting HSE delivery and execution for manufacturing plant.
  • Deliver best in class OTD target at 100%, zero past dues, productivity and overdue backlog.
  • Be responsible for overall cost control actions within the plant, focus on VCP, cost management and bullet trains along with productivity growth.
  • Drive continuous business improvement with focus on CBS execution - KPI board and daily flash cadence.
  • Lead plant capacity planning and production/manufacturing planning strategy with drive on zero past due orders and leading indicator focus on planned orders.
  • Team management of plant leadership team.
  • Management of overall plant P and E, inventory and Obso/scrap execution and strategy.


To be successful in this role you will:
  • Engineering or supply chain Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience in planning and materials management leadership roles.

Salary range: $117,500 to $145,900. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Compensation packages also include comprehensive benefits, 401K contribution and match, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement and more. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
