Position Overview Mantel seeks an Operations Manager to support our biomedical product development and manufacturing activities in Fort Collins. In this role, the successful candidate will help drive the operations of a growing manufacturing and product development organization, bringing structure and visibility across priorities, planning, and cross functional work. Working across scientific, regulatory, engineering and business teams, this person will bring strong organization and operational execution to help teams turn concepts into plans, identify gaps and risks, and keep complex work moving. Project management will be a critical part of the role, including management of technical projects spanning R&D through manufacturing.
Location: Fort Collins, CO • Fully Onsite Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 DOE Responsibilities: - Work across scientific, engineering, regulatory, quality, manufacturing and business teams to drive the operating needs of Mantel's Biomedical Solutions organization including reporting, manufacturing planning, documentation, facilities and other cross-functional initiatives
- Develop a strong understanding of Mantel's products and technical objectives, working with scientific and technical teams as products move from R&D toward manufacturing
- Provide leadership with understanding of priorities, performance, risks and decisions needed and drive follow-up on agreed actions
- Identify operational gaps, putting structure and processes in place to improve how the team works
- Manage technical projects spanning R&D, product development and manufacturing, including project planning, team coordination, milestones, deliverables and budget performance
What We're Looking For: - Bachelor's degree required
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing, technical operations, product development or a similar role.
- 3+ years of experience in an operations role with responsibility for planning, coordinating cross-functional work and driving execution
- Experience in Project Management
- Highly organized and self driving, with the ability to manage competing priorities, create structure, and drive execution
- Collaborative and curious, with the ability to work across scientific, technical, regulatory and business teams and use operational and financial information to identify issues and support leadership decisions
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments, including those subject to FDA requirements, cGMP practices, ISO standards or similar quality systems, is a plus
