ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Space team is dedicated to expanding our AI-powered capabilities into the final frontier, enhancing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control, and Command and Control for U.S. military and allied partners. We're developing fully integrated hardware and software systems, including Lattice for Space Missions and modular payloads, to address growing threats in space and ensure our Guardians maintain a decisive advantage in this contested warfighting domain.
ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Space Operations Lead to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA, to drive operational excellence across our space program. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with engineering, production, and business development to design scalable processes, optimize growth systems, and deliver data-driven insights that accelerate mission delivery. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Engineering, and Corporate Operations to refine strategic planning and mission objectives, ensuring seamless integration of space payload capabilities to meet aggressive growth targets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on best practices for growth systems (i.e., Salesforce), championing data integrity and governance standards, and supporting growth leads in refining forecasts and business opportunities.
  • Analyze technical pipeline data, payload performance metrics, and space market trends to surface actionable insights, enabling data-backed decisions for mission planning and technology roadmaps.
  • Develop business cases for new investment opportunities to meet P&L targets and ensure adequate resourcing.
  • Own the translation of sales pipeline demand into short- and long-term planning across Operations, People, Production, Real Estate, Corporate Technology, and Finance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or strategy within a high-growth aerospace, defense, or space technology company.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Project management experience including: requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, deployment, training, and delivery.
  • Aptitude for rapid learning and assimilating new information to swiftly become proficient in unfamiliar subject areas and technologies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a proven ability to bridge the gap between business development leads, aerospace engineers, and mission operations teams.
  • Ownership mentality with a natural bias to assume responsibility. We empower our team to quickly assume high levels of responsibility and entrust them to actively own projects and shape their success.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or similar degree
  • Experience working with engineers and bringing hardware/software products to market strongly preferred
  • Experience in the Space Industry
  • Experience working effectively in a matrix organization structure
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Experience with or deep understanding of the Department of War procurement processes


US Salary Range

$146,000-$194,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
