Full Job Description
THE POSITION:

STACK's Operations EHS Manager is a key position within our organization. It will report directly to the Director of Operations Safety with company-wide, as well as regionally focused accountabilities. The successful candidate will focus on supporting the implementation, continuous improvements, and on-going maintenance of the Operations EHS Playbook and assist with local and federal compliance obligations. They will work with the Operations Teams within their designated region and provide technical support, guidance and resources that will enable EHS success at each site. The Operations EHS Manager will perform project management tasks and work closely with EHS Leadership to drive consistency where appropriate and identify opportunities for improvements. They will be a key resource in not only identifying EHS gaps, but more importantly working with the Operations Teams to identify, develop and implement effective and efficient solutions. Additionally, they will support the EHS aspects of commissioning data centers and the hand-off from construction to operations.

The role requires a creative mind, strong project management skills, knowledge of regulations and best practices for operating data centers safely, collaboration and leadership skills that help build relationships at all levels in the organization, a passion for people, and a sincere desire to improve every day. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Working with Critical Operations to implement effective management processes to address high-risk activities including, but not limited to, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and contractor management.
  • Implementing environment, health and safety procedures and ensuring compliance within their region with applicable EHS requirements.
  • Assisting sites with risk mitigation associated with multi-employer worksites.
  • Analyzing performance metrics.
  • Creating content and providing EHS training on various topics covered under 29 CFR 1910.
  • Leading incident investigations utilizing effective root cause analysis tool and overseeing the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assisting Critical Operations teams with identifying and implementing performance improvements.
  • Reviewing and approving MOPs with regards to safety and attending regional CAB review meetings.
  • Leading strategic EHS initiative within their region and providing portfolio-wide support as needed.
  • Conducting site assessments to evaluate compliance with regulations and conformance with STACK standards.


THE DETAILS

  • Location: Santa Teresa, NM
  • Travel: 10 - 20%, dependent on designated region
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass a comprehensive background screening

Compensation Range:
$121,000.00 - $137,752.45
