Full Job Description
Position: Operations Engineer III - AMZ15500.4

Location: Bellevue, WA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Contribute to process improvement and provide data, cost/benefit analysis

of the business and logistics;

2. Assist in program management from analysis of business needs, planning

to completion, by defining the program requirements, specifications and

solutions and coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and enhance and

deploy new or existing features;

3. Work jointly with Planning, Launch, Tech, Product, Procurement, Finance,

HR, external partners, and product teams to ensure timely, budgetconscious project completion;

4. Act as the advisor for the team and broader network leaders within Amazon

Logistics;

5. Drive creation of quality and change initiatives that impact the end-to-end

solutions for Amazon Logistics;

6. Plan, design, analyze and implement end-to-end solutions for Amazon

Logistics;

7. Liaise with Tech/Software teams to facilitate the development and

operational implementation of new software technology;

8. Provide technical leadership and analytics for projects by leveraging MS

Excel, Tableau, SQL, and Python to execute sophisticated operations and

logistics analyses and drive data-informed decision-making.

9. Lead and coordinate efforts between internal teams and outside vendors to

develop optimal logistics solutions for Amazon, including process design,

material flow, new equipment development and deployment, program tech,

and site layout; and

10. Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with internal and external

stakeholders.

11. Domestic travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $136094 - $161700)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Management, Business, Technology or a related discipline and two years of experience in the job offered or as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or a related occupation. In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Management, Business, Technology or related discipline and five years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or a related occupation.

Must include one year of experience in each of the following:

(1) CAD software including AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360.

(2) Managing the lifecycle of cross functional projects, implementing automated equipment or integrated systems.

(3) Leading projects, programs, or initiatives with continually increasing scope and impact.

(4) Designing complex systems for automation in logistics or manufacturing, or experience with product development in automotive, aerospace, automation equipment or related field

(5) Leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion

(6) Leveraging SQL and Python to perform project analytics, deliver data-driven technical leadership, and guide business decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

(7) Applying statistical analysis methods including Difference-in-Differences (DiD), t-tests, regression analysis, and time series analysis to evaluate project performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making across technical initiatives.

The pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $136094 - $161700 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
