Responsibilities:

Organizational Leadership
  • Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to develop project strategies and solutions.
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless project delivery and execution and collaborate with mechanical, electrical and rigging teams to understand equipment installations for appropriate foundations designs.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational success.

Project Design and Estimation
  • Oversee a team experienced with the delivery of construction drawings for machine pits, foundations, and enclosures in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and local building codes.
  • Understand and interpret machine drawings to design necessary foundations
  • Ensure personnel are performing the appropriate site investigations and feasibility studies to assess ground conditions, machine anchoring needs, and space constraints.
  • Responsible for the preparation of construction cost estimates specific to the departments.
  • Address design changes and field issues quickly and accurately to minimize project delays.

Project Execution
  • Collaborate with the sales team regarding customer requirements
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of processes to enhance job quality and efficiency.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through material optimization and innovative design approaches without compromising performance or safety.
  • Build and manage a skilled team of field personnel and estimators for high-quality, on-time, and safe project delivery.
  • Ensure the implementation or processes from field to the office that can manage project changes such as design changes or delays.
  • Implement best practices to boost productivity and ensure optimal project outcomes.

People Development
  • Foster a culture focused on safety, customer satisfaction, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote training and professional development initiatives to grow technical knowledge and leadership skills across the team.
  • Empower team members to make sound decisions while maintaining performance standards and accountability.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • 8+ years of progressive management experience, including 5+ years in high-level operations within the machine foundations and commercial carpentry industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing large, diverse teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with a commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
  • Ability to manage sensitive issues and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep technical expertise in machine foundations and commercial carpentry processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver's license required.
