Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, development, evaluation, personnel, and implementation of the district's custodial services, maintenance, transportation, and special projects as assigned.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Clear and valid Texas driver's licence
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of operations management
Ability to direct and manage operations of a large fleet of vehicles
Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam
Ability to conduct an on-site inspection of district facilities, vehicle repairs, and maintenance operations
Ability to interpret data
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work irregular and extended hours
Experience:
5 years experience in facilities operations management
3 years experience managing people
Building/Campus Maintenance
