Job SummaryKey Responsibilities- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with operations leadership to develop financial plans and performance targets
- Manage ongoing forecasts and analyze trends, business drivers, risks, and opportunities that may impact financial performance
- Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and performance analysis, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Own and analyze P&L performance, providing variance explanations, actionable insights, and recommendations to operations leadership
- Review general ledger activity and balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
- Partner with operations leadership to improve financial performance, manage costs, and support operational decision-making
- Provide financial guidance and analysis to help operations understand key business drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Lead, coach, and develop finance team members, promoting accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, efficiency, and financial visibility
- Support business initiatives and other financial activities as needed
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
- Previous supervisory or people management experience
- Experience supporting an operationally focused business environment preferred
- Hospitality, retail, foodservice, distribution, or related industry experience is a plus
Technical Skills & Expertise- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger activity, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong understanding of P&L management, financial controls, and variance analysis
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Strong proficiency with SAP or a similar ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
- Ability to translate financial information into clear, actionable insights for operations leadership
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
