HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

This role is centered around ensuring that customer needs are effectively communicated and translated into actionable plans within the plant organization with a strong focus on meeting customer needs, managing risks, and optimizing resources. It's a dynamic position that requires excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Steer Structural Availability
  • Track, analyze and steer structural availability through Structural Coverage Target management
  • Communicate & promote our customer needs & requirements throughout the plant organizations
  • Ensure the plants focus on operational priorities & leverage additional resources as needed
  • Analyze, identify, and communicate short-term supply chain issues

Collaborate with Demand & Supply Balancing to ensure focus on market priorities
  • Align demand & supply corridors to meet customer requirements
  • Translate market requirements into plant requirements
  • Make operational priorities transparent to all levels of the organization

Coordinate throughout the Supply Chain
  • Steer the regional plant capacities & utilization with emphasis on reliability & effectiveness
  • Coordinate cross-plant responsibility for multiple-source articles
  • Coordinate with the strategic supply manager to create and/or activate inter-plant flexibility to react to sudden market or manufacturing changes and consequent plant load variations

Systems & Process Improvement
  • Lead projects within the Supply Chain organization to improve quality of reporting and management visibility, process efficiencies, improved on time delivery and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Increase plants accountability on structural availability by improving related processes
  • Manage process changes in the supply chain organization, applies change management strategies to ensure continuous improvement
  • Measure supply chain variances, analyze cause and effect, recommend corrective action, and publish results

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related degree
  • 7+ years of Supply Chain Management or related experience
  • Prior process optimization experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is only able to offer visa support for internals individuals who currently hold an existing valid employment visa.
  • Can offer relocation if needed


ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
