This position title code has been updated from a Cardiovascular Supervisor 2 to a Ambulatory Care Administration Supervisor 2 as of September 4, 2026.DESCRIPTIONThe Non-Invasive Imaging Department offers a full range of cardiac imaging and testing across seven diverse locations for inpatients and outpatients. The Department offers echocardiography, ECG, stress testing, cardiopulmonary exercise stress testing and ambulatory monitoring services.
This role applies advanced administrative concepts, while maintaining efficient daily operations. The incumbent acts as an integrator to ensure policies, information, and initiatives flow effectively across clinical, research, educational, and operational domains.
Plays a key role in talent selection, schedule maintenance, project oversight and system wide in-services. Prepare financial reports and present budget performance updates to leadership. Facilitate coordination of education support. Partners with information technology teams to optimize electronic medical record functionality. Coordinate/participate in system upgrades, testing, implementation, and end-user training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
- A minimum of five (5+) or more years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of practice operations, patient-scheduling systems, medical and insurance terminology, applicable information systems, patient service standards, and regulatory requirement and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of human resources management policies, with the ability to train, monitor, evaluate, and document human resources issues and performance, and to participate in decision-making on human resources matters.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly analyze problems, determine appropriate level of intervention, and develop and apply effective solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaborations with all levels of management and staff, consultants, and outside agencies.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to train and mentor subordinates, to convey complex administrative, clinical, and technical information in a clear and concise manner, and to prepare and present a variety of reports, documentation, analyses, and project proposals.
- Strong knowledge of business software and specialized applications and data management systems used in clinic / center operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience within inpatient and ambulatory environments.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $90,600 - $166,400 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $43.39 - $79.69
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
